25 October 2023, during the 7th Future Investment Initiative (FII), in the presence of over 6000 attending representatives, HE Khalid Al Faih, Minister of Investment, HE Mohammed Al-Tamimi, CEO of Saudi Space Agency, Eng. Saleh Khabti, Deputy Minister of Investment, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Mazyad, Defense & Space Sector General Manager of MISA and other Saudi government officials jointly awarded the Space Industry Investment License to Mr. Sun Fengquan, Chairman and CEO of ASPACE Satellite Technology Limited (ASPACE).
ASPACE Satellite Technology Limited, as a subsidiary of Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group, becomes the first space industry company in Saudi Arabia, the first company to obtain the Space Industry and Defense Investment License.
