On 16 October 2023, with the support of the Saudi Space Agency (SSA) and the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA), ASPACE Satellite Technology Limited (ASPACE) obtained the national aerospace industrial license issued by Saudi Arabia, covering dozens of business scopes in the aerospace manufacturing field, which laid an essential foundation for the development of the Saudi aerospace industry.
The license obtained by ASPACE covers hardware manufacturing such as aerospace vehicles, satellites, satellite components, radio communication, measurement, remote sensing, control systems, production of raw materials and components, research and development on information systems and software, key technology demonstration and product experiments.
Obtaining the Saudi national aerospace industrial license not only marks an essential step for ASPACE to land the satellite industry in Saudi Arabia, but also has great significance for ASPACE to implement its globalisation strategy in different parts of the world.
