22nd February, 2023—Mr. Jurg Burri, Swiss Ambassador to PRC, and Mr. Rolf Frei, Swiss Consul General to HKSAR, visited Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group. Mr. Sun Feng Quan, Co-Chairman and CEO of Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group, together with Non Executive Director Dr. Daniel Yip, Senior Advisor of CEO Office Mr. Andrew Young and Director of International Partnership of CEO Office Ms. Marian Gaultney, met with visitors from Switzerland. During the meeting, the two parties held friendly talks on further deepening cooperation in the field of aerospace and positive role of Hong Kong Reindustrialization Plan in promoting the intelligentization of the manufacturing industry, economic diversification and social modernization in Hong Kong and around the globe.

Mr. Jurg Burri and his group visited the newly constructed Hong Kong Satellite Telemetry, Tracking and Control Center (Figure 2), Hong Kong Satellite Data Application Center (Figure 3), and the Hong Kong Satellite Manufacturing Center which is still under construction (Figure 4 and Figure5). The ambassador expressed strong interest for the one-stop service provided by HKATG, including its satellite manufacturing, launching, TT&C and data application. He also praised the rapid growth of Hong Kong aerospace industry. When it comes to future development and partnership regarding aerospace technology, Mr. Jurg Burri is affirmative. "Both sides are expected to deepen the cooperation and opportunities in terms of economic, trading and technological innovation. I believe our cooperation and exchange in the aerospace sector are going to reach a whole new level." Mr. Sun Feng Quan commented.

This is an exchange event where China and the West learn from each other in science technology and culture. The establishment of Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group has also injected new vitality into the China-Switzerland innovation strategic partnership. We are looking forward that the two sides can further strengthen cooperation in the future and promote the development of satellite precision manufacturing and space industry together.
