At 10:12 on April 3rd, China used the Long March 6 carrier rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch the Tianping-3A Star 02 into space. The satellite smoothly entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.
The Tianping-3A Star 02 is mainly used for the calibration of ground radar equipment and the measurement of Radar Cross Section (RCS). It provides support for the imaging tests of ground optical equipment and the detection and monitoring tests of the low-orbit space environment. It also provides services for the measurement of the atmospheric space environment and the correction of orbit prediction models.
This mission is the 568th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
TAIYUAN, April 19, China launched six satellites—Shiyan-27 01 to 06—aboard a Long March 6A rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. All satellites entered their planned orbits, marking the mission’s full success.
