Universal Satlink
UNIVERSAL SATLINK is an integrated communications + remote sensing constellation project developing by USPACE. It consists of 600 LEO satellites, aims to provide mobile Internet access and remote sensing services with Africa at its core and local areas in Asia and Latin America as an extension.
The Universal Satlink constellation is expected to reach approximately 1 billion people in Africa, Asia and Latin America, providing low-cost 3G and 4G Internet access for smart phones and related terrestrial terminal services. With the optical and SAR data deeply integrated, the constellation will establish an all-weather near-real-time dynamic Earth observation system in the target areas, and to provide remote sensing products and services.
